inspiration
i've been motivated. between cara's comings and goings this week between various athletic endevours and becky's email about how many great things she's been doing, i decided now is truly the time to start. so i hopped on my bike and after a few minutes of feeling funny, realized that it indeed wasn't me, but my bike is misaligned and needs a tune up. foiled!
so i decided to do some lunges, squats, and free weights with the arms just to get some things tuned up (besides my bike) in hopes of a break in the weather so that i may get in a run. and yes i realize how nice it's been and how i have not taken advantage of that fact at all. but gotta start somewhere.
becky, i hope you are feeling better! missed you at the boathouse, but there will be other opportunities for you to meet brian...he's going to be around a while :)

woo! that's the spirit - jumping back in there! i think the inertia of getting started is the worst part to overcome. go girl, go!

she's right. it definitely is. the mind is the tough thing to fix. the body will catch up...eventually.
