rotations!
while i'm convinced that working at the hospital is enough of a workout (i've never walked so fast in my life!), i put in a 4-miler today. just plodded along mostly, it was pretty hot, but ran a bit at franklin field, which is always inspiring. must work working out into my new routine. maybe.
so a brief update for those i haven't talked to about how delaware has been treating me. awesomely!! first of all, got my board scores backs and i somehow exceeded my expectations, which isn't like, oh, of course you did, you studied hard, b/c i thought i did not set them low. anyway, that is FABULOUS news. and i love christiana. the people there are wonderful, patient, funny, and i'm learning a ton. i had my first night on call on friday, which doesn't really count since they let me sleep for 6 hrs...but whatever, i slept at the hospital and woke up and saw my patient (i currently just have 1) before leaving for the day. awesome!! spending some long days and some really early mornings, but so far, none of it sucks and i don't mind the hours at all b/c i'm learning and it's exciting and really isn't too utterly overwhelming like i thought it might be. but tomorrow starts a whole week, so we'll see how i feel after 5 full days, and not just 3. but so far so good!

Congratulations!! You always do awesome, I had no doubt! We must get together soon, after my crazy week of interviews (I have 2!) and your crazy week of work to catch up. You have patients! Or...you have patient (singular)...hehe. So exciting that you're running around a hospital!
