started off the haldigon training on a tummy full of "awesome" cheese fries, "suicide hot" wings, a laeger, and gossip with nina, but it was worth it. did tuesday's workout, 30 min tempo and felt like i had some good energy flowing. must've been the wings ;) feeling a whole lot less stressed, yay for endorphins!!

another weekend gone
after dancing the night away friday, i felt like i was unsick enough for a real gym workout... hit the treads at home b/c it was sooooo cold out, did another 4 and felt ok. tomorrow starts haldigon! but since i have to go to delaware tomorrow and didn't get much studying done this weekend, i'll probably skip the first day. good start kate ;)

sick
i finally got the cold that's going around. since i only just got it and so far am not feeling too sick, i worked out just to see how it felt. logged in another 4, felt pretty good til the last half a mile, but i can't ask for much more than that with how congested i'm starting to get! total

vacation planning!
decided to get a run in even though my calves are a bit tight - but it was for a good cause - dinner with the girls and vacation planning!! didn't get the flight booked yet, but we will soon. now i just have to think what i want to do with my day of the vacation!! the possibilities...suggestions welcomed (we're doing the san fran area)!

keep on keepin on
on the treadmill did 2 miles at 0.5% incline, another 2 at just sub 8 min miles with no incline. my calves felt sore today during the run, but cardio-wise, i didn't feel that i was pushing it as hard as usual. i think my body is mixed up! i'll blame it on all the sleeping i did this weekend :)

tired, but trying to avoid cranky :)
8 minute miles x 3. going for a lighter week to give my muscles a chance to rest up for next week, when i think the haldigon training starts? can anyone confirm that?
anyway, i've decided the treadmills at the gym are harder than the ones in barringer, either that or i'm dehydrated from too much coffee and too little sleep and too much stress. or all of the above, it's not been a fabulous week. so i guess i should be unlazy and haul my ass to the gym and avoid convenience just for convenience's sake. on the bright side, AC this weekend, baby! woo!
it's gonna be forever before i reach bucknell, but boy will it be sweet!

5 at 1% incline. i feel like i may be doing too much, but everyone says to listen to my body and it'll tell me if i am. so far it's been really happy, so i'm going with it. will be a lighter week regardless b/c it's test week, so that should give my muscles some time to chill out.

late night
5 on the treadster, miles 2 and 4 went hard. felt really great, but thought it important to do the mile intervals. heart rate was about 85% i think at the end, but dropped to 60% within a few minutes of walking, so i think that's about right.
