lead legs and motivation

after a surprisingly terrific day and some inspiration from andrea during my cvpf visit, i went out for a run. i upped the mileage just a bit and definitely was running on empty by the end of it, but still tried to push it as much as i could (which is, granted not very much). and now i'm beet red :) so, did a loop from the apt around the art museum and back to the walnut street bridge, cooled down the rest of the way back. i can feeling my running legs slowly returning, but they have zero indurance and i look like molasses. must remedy.

cool and humid?

it was time for another jaunt on the schuykill...next to the waste that was accidently dumped into the river up in mont.co. nice. ran up to the top of the hill and back. still slower than molasses, but i haven't been near as consistent with running or working out as i need to be to really improve quickly, walking and doing stairs just seems to keep me in enough shape that running doesn't hurt. not a bad deal i suppose.

update on other things going on...i'm nearly done with my application. i've read it over and changed it about 100 times and everything is uploaded except my personal statement. i still have it sent out to a few people, am going to take a bit more advice, than be done with it finally and forever. than it's a few months of studying for the boards, then interviews start. either way, since i'm pretty much done, i actually have free time and i'm really not sure what to do at night. i'm not watching any shows anymore, finished my only book...it's SUCH a weird feeling. but i love it :)
