3 @ 6.7. thought i could feel my knee (no pain), so went for a smooth run b/c i had the energy and didn't want to just rest (also felt like skipping class). also arms/abs for 20 min afterwards.
so i haven't enjoyed running in about 8 yrs. it's been tedious and painful and i never felt like i was making any progress. and just now i did 4 miles in 33 min and ran 3 of them in 24. what is going on?! i feel great, i feel like i could just go. it's really a great feeling - i'm starting to remember why i loved this sport. here's to broad street - it looks like it may be a reality!!
it's exam day, but not til the afternoon, so in order to help my soon to be caffeine fix, i went for a quick 3 miles. not upping the miles yet, but dropping the time to 25.5 min, however, i can bet i'll be a bit sore tomorrow, already feel the tightening up...
another 3 miles on the treadmill, went a little faster, ave maybe 6.4. sit-ups and light arms afterwards. don't want to overdo it too soon, but it feels good so far.
3 miles on the treadmill before class this morning. tough waking up so early just to run, but i figure this is a good way to start. 28 min is slow, but gotta start somewhere... this pic is just for motivational purposes...
