on a mission...

to not feel so fatigued. and i never feel not so fatigued as when i'm working out consistently. i've been having a go at that off/on for a few months, so here we go again :) lifted arms at the gym and ran comfortably for 20+ minutes. so far, i feel tired, but good. here's hoping!

2 minus 2 until first rads interview!!

Swam today, got it up to 1 mile in the special pool. Feeling better and stronger, able to push it more now, with less kicking. Buff arms will be mine again in no time!
Geisinger on Friday!!!

yesterday

ran, oh between 1.5 and 2 miles yesterday between will's eye again. i know it's not much to write home about, but on the way back i kicked to a level that i haven't been able to in a year. so that's worthy of note and since i worked up a good sweat, i think it's fair to blog it!
interview season restarts after a short hiatus this friday - 'rah bucknell! and by bucknell i mean geisinger!

ophtho

Ran a mile to and a mile from ophtho ER today, b/c i wanted to sleep in later, i was late to get home to go to the special olympics, and i wanted to force myself to work out. ran home in a thin coat of rain - it was wonderful, forgot how fun running can be :) well, except for the pain in my legs...

today

not for real exercise, but made 2 round trips to will's eye today, walking at a fairly fast clip b/c i was late both times. that evens out to about 4 miles. therefore treated myself to like 6 candies leftover from halloween. sigh.

Wednesday

Swam 3/4 mile in the short pool. Not sore, but breathing was one of the factors, felt better than last time though. plan to keep up this mixing it up-style of workouts. yay for swimming!

Monday

playing catch-up. ran 2 miles on the treads with katie. determined to be in shape to run broad street this year since once interviews are over...it's all downhill and free time :)
slower than molasses, but got it done
